    Carmen by Prosper Merimee, translated by Richard Griffin, with illustrations done in Spain in the summer of 1902 by Lionel Lindsay, and with a foreword by Peter Lindsay. This is the first limited edition with the colour plate and sixteen pages of drawings limited to 250 copies, this is number 205, signed by Peter Lindsay, and bound in cloth. Includes the prospectus and order form with the tipped in Lindsay plate.

    Near Fine Condition in Good Jacket. Very minor spotting to top edge. Bookplate of Dr. Ian Keith McGill. Jacket has minor edge wear, no chips or tears, some foxing and tanning, and a small ink mark to the front panel near the spine. Near Fine Condition.
