    Philip (Phil) Hale is an American figurative painter who lives in London, England. He is known for his “depictions of slightly surreal scenes with strange characters performing various physical feats, usually in a confrontation of some sort.” This book contains high quality reproductions of his works (paintings, drawings and photographs), a must for figurative painters studying his style. Includes introduction by George Milton and multiple essays by Tray Batey. This copy is signed by Hale on the half-title.
