    Small letterpress-printed broadside honouring the 150th birthday of John Muir on April 21 1988. John Muir (1838-1914), was a Scottish-American naturalist, author, and conservationist. He was one of the first to support the preservation of wilderness in the United States, particularly the Yosemite Valley and Sequoia National Park. The Sierra Club, which he co-founded, is still an important American conservation group. The text is a quote from Muir’s writings.
