Originally published in French in 1961, then translated into English and first published in America in 1963, this is a copy of the first UK edition, translated from the French by Haakon Chevalier.

    Very Good Condition in Good Jacket. Small soil to cloth at spine crown. Top edge foxed. Jacket tanned and foxed, with slight discolouration to the spine, some small rubs to the rear panel, a <2cm closed tear to the top edge, and some insect damage to the lower flap. Very Good Condition.
