    On holiday in Turkey, Steadman developed a new photographic technique when he started distorting polaroid pictures before their emulsion had fully set. He called these photo-caricatures Paranoids. Polaroid changed their chemical process shortly afterwards, so only a limited collection were made. This book features 127 Paranoids, including Margaret Thatcher, Marilyn Monroe, the British Royal Family, Jimi Hendrix, and many other famous faces from celebrity, politics, and the arts, past and present. A distinct collection from this prolific illustrator in a truly unique media. This copy is signed by Steadman to the half-title.
