First published in 1816 the author Henry Thomas Alken attempts to show the good and bad points of the horse through a series of detailed illustrations.

Some closed tears and chipping to discoloured spine. Rubbing and wear to boards. Tanning to endpapers, very minor foxing to first/last few pages. Bookplate of Douglas Anstruther. Good Condition.
