    The popular account of the divorce trial of Australian cricketer Arthur Coningham and his wife Alice accused of adultery with a Catholic priest, Father Denis O’Haran, personal secretary to Cardinal Moran. Arthur lost the case, his wife divorced him for adultery, and he later served jail time for fraud and died in an asylum. Illustrated with photographic facsimiles of the documents in the case and many others that were not produced in court.
