    Printed in 1889 by the Government Printers in Brisbane, and edited by Justice George R. Harding, of the Supreme Court of Queensland, this book includes the full text of the Settled Land Act of 1886 and associated Rules, with marginal notes by Harding. “An Act for facilitating sales, leases, and other dispositions of settled land, and promoting the execution of improvements thereon.” Justice Harding was a successful legal writer who authored seven law books, including this one. A passionate bibliophile, arguable his greatest legacy was the 10,000 plus books he collected for the Supreme Court of Queensland while he was Chairman of its library committee for six years.
