Volume 5 contains a print folder and a slipcased bound book. Plate 46 is missing from print folder of volume 5. Text is in Japanese, primarily illustrations.

    Shunga by various Japanese artists from the collection of Yasuda Ashiaki (1918-2008), “one of the foremost experts on 20th century Japanese erotica” (Nawapedia). Primarily illustrations with no essays or introductory texts, the titles are in Japanese. Features shunga from across the Edo, Meiji, Taisho, Showa, and Post War periods with works by Seiu Ito, Shinsui Ito, Katsushiku Hokusai, Yushido Shunsho, Yumeji Takehisa, Tomioka Eisen, Kobayashi Eitaku, Kunikazu Utagawa, Torii Kiyonaga, as well as works from the Tosa School, imitation pieces, and many unattributed works. Volume 5 contains 2 works by Seiu Ito / Seiyu Itoh, the first, a bound book, Rongo Tsukai, the second a folder of prints of the work Jigoku no Onna / Women in Hell, which is missing 1 plate, though the full scroll is reproduced in black and white across 3 plates.

    Very minor general wear. Some minor fingerprints marks to folders and cases. Very occasional very minor spot of foxing to edge. Near Fine Condition.
