The largest Folio Society ever produced, a reproduction of the First Edition of Samuel Johnson’s Dictionary of the English Language, beautiful bound in dappled calfskin with marbled papers and edges in a numbered edition of 1,000. This is number 457.

Very minor wear to slipcase. Some toning and discolouration to spines. Minor crease to the first few pages from top edge near gutter. Near Fine Condition.
