Jenkins buys rare books of cultural or academic interest in all genres, along with related antiquarian paper materials such as photographs, ephemera, manuscripts, archives, artwork, and maps. Areas of particular interest include (but are not limited to) sexuality, LGBTIQ+, ethnopharmacology, butoh, counterculture, and art.
General reading books are not purchased. Uncertain about what you have? Enquiries are welcome. Appraisals are by appointment. Travel is available for large or special collections.
Appraisals cannot be offered remotely, books must be inspected in person. Preliminary enquiries by email or telephone can only confirm whether an inspection is likely to be worthwhile.
