Adullam Commemorative Album in honour of the establishment of Nahlat, NSW in Israel. A 1961 reclamation project, being 25 acres of land claimed from Palestine and presented to the premier of New South Wales, R. J. Heffron [Robert James Heffron] organised by the Jewish National Fund of New South Wales. Each page is embossed with an ancient Israeli coin and details a contributor to the project ranging from private individuals to small businesses to well known organisations. These albums were presented to contributors and include the program from the presentation and reception at the David Jones Restaurant, Sydney, on June 12, 1961, short introductions, and photographic highlights from the evening. Cover illustration by Judy Cassab with other illustrations by George Hamori. Unrecorded in Trove or OCLC, the NLA holding an album from the previous year’s project dedicated to Sir Eric Woodward.
