    28cm x 21.5cm. 66 pages, black and white illustrations. Pictorial saddle-stapled wrappers.

Single issue of American performing arts, entertainment, and under the radar gay magazine, After Dark. Running from 1968 to 1983 After Dark featured stories on theatre, film, dance, performance art, music, and the people who starred in such productions. While not overtly erotic or described as a gay magazine, the magazine was often playfully erotic (usually thanks to staff photographer Kenn Duncan), and the readership largely comprised gay men, especially evident by the advertisements a plenty for gay venues, books, movies, and fashion. In this issue: Richard Chamberlain, Midnight Cowboy, The Poetry of Rock, The Judson Poet’s Theatre, Designs for Shakespear, Lotte Lenya, and more.

Minor tanning and shelf wear. Minor foxing to edges. Old ink price to front cover. Very Good Condition.
