13cm x 8.5cm. Cassette tape in plastic case, housed in a cardboard box with mounted photograph to lid, manuscript titles to sides, mounted xeroxed paper to the inside of the lid, and accompanied by 4 folded xeroxed sheets.

Recording of a live performance by Fluxus artist Al Hansen, recreating radical feminist Valerie Solanas’ attempted assassination of Andy Warhol. Hansen was a founding figure of the Happenings movement and a longstanding presence in Warhol’s circle: he was a frequent visitor to the Factory, and his daughter Bibbe Hansen was one of Warhol’s superstars, appearing in two of his 1965 films. Hansen arrived at the Factory on the day of the shooting and narrowly missed Solanas as she fled the building after shooting Warhol with a pistol. One of 80 numbered copies signed by Hansen and Cieslik with a photograph of the performance mounted to the lid and accompanied by three A3 and one A4 xeroxed sheets reproducing articles about the performance.
