Including notes on some of the tropical rain forests and description of many tropical species. A friend and colleague of the author of this book says touchingly in a foreword that W.D. Francis writes so originally and dedicatedly about trees that the book “must make a strong appeal to botanists, foresters, and that ever-growing circle of Australians who take a general interest in trees and, in fact, all that pertains to plant life.” So good was his work, first published in 1929, that this manual has been updated and renewed here over a half-century later by G. M. Chippendale.

Creasing to spine. Minor foxing to edges. Good Condition.
