    Fakir Musafar (1930-2018) was an American performance artist and one of the founders of the modern primitive movement. The movement involves body modification rituals and practices inspired by traditional cultures. Practices include piercing, tattooing, flesh hook suspension, branding, cutting, scarification, and corset training, among others. This issue includes breast sculpting, ear loops, extra long toenails, body clamping, and Japanese bondage.
