First trade edition of Hanley’s second novel, a very grim tale of the brief life of a thirteen year old stowaway from Liverpool. YOUNG 1694. This copy with the signature of Gary Simes and a newspaper clipping of a photographic portrait of Hanley to the front endpaper.

Rebacked with original tanned spine laid down, some loss at crown and tail. Minor foxing and tanning. Good Condition.
