Claude Marquet (1869-1920) was a self-taught Australian cartoonist, whose works appeared in the Adelaide weekly magazine, Quiz, the Bulletin, Table Talk, and the Melbourne Punch, but most notably in the Australian Worker, whose principles of worker solidarity he shared. This book was published for the benefit of his widow, after his untimely death in a boating accident.
Spine slight cocked and very slightly discoloured. Very minor rubbing to corners. Tanning to endpapers, minor to pages. Very Good Condition.
