Illustrated by coloured and collotyped reproductions from the author’s collection with descriptions and notes on the history of drawing, writing, etc., translated from the standard Chinese authors. Bound together with the supplement on bronzes, ceramics, and jade. This copy signed by Strehlneek and dated 27th October, 1914.

Rubbing and tanning to silk with loss at crown and tail. Front hinge cracked, hanging on by the silk and extremely tender. Foxing in places. Fair Condition.
