An ardent entrepreneur Mariani marketed heavily the curative properties of his spirited beverage, of which this monograph played an important part. Some soiling to cloth at spine tail and near tail of upper board. Very minor bumping to boards with a very minor split to lower joint at crown. The front free endpaper is brittle at the gutter and splitting, the binding otherwise firm. Good Condition.
