Illustrated throughout with refined engravings of dishes including lots of fish, table pieces, ornaments, accessories, and kitchen interiors. One of the high points of gastronomy publishing by one of the top 19th century French chefs. Onlays dated 1883.

Boards rubbed. Minor foxing throughout. Stain to bottom edge of plate 88 and page 49 of volume 2. Assorted tissue guards, some missing, some tanned and creased. Good Condition.
