Augustiniano Authore. Documents the chronology of the popes from Saint Peter to Paul IV. Large woodcut on title page with woodcut illustrations of the arms of the popes and cardinals through the text, some hand coloured, and some printed as blank drawn in by hand, and with early marginalia throughout.
Binding in Near Fine Condition. Interior in Good to Fair. Soiling and finger stains. Numerous tears to edges professionally repaired. On twenty pages oxidation of the colouring has resulted in holes in the paper. Mm4 with piece 15cm x 1cm torn from the tail. Index leaf Nn7 with a triangular piece 16cm x 15cm torn from tail fore-edge corner resulting in some loss of text. Signature Aa6 is bound after Bb6. Good Condition.
