The first collected volume in Araki’s Hitozuma series, capturing portraits of 25 married women. Originally a column in the magazine Shukan Taishu, Hitozuma Eros has become a long running Araki series with over 20 volumes in the series, featuring hundreds of wives who applied to have their portrait taken by Araki. Includes a short text by Shuji Terayama, ‘Your Lives Rich in Eccentricity’, in English and Japanese.
