Collection of 15 hand-coloured erotic prints by German artist Franz Naager (1870-1942) published under his Italian pseudonym Antonio Francesco. Liebesfreude (The Joy of Love) mostly shows brightly coloured couples in flowing designs making love outdoors. It is the only print portfolio Naager produced and was done so privately in a total edition of 200 numbered copies. Numbers 1-40 were original works and signed by the artist, 41-200 were printed and coloured by hand. This being number 163. Unrecorded in OCLC.

Cloth spine restored, minor wear to folder’s other edges. Light wear to title page, plates Fine. Near Fine Condition.
