Wilhelm Reich (1897-1957) was an Austro-Hungraian-American doctor and psychoanalys, and is one of psychiatry’s most radical figures. In the late 1950s many of his books were burned by order of the court in one of the largest cases of modern censorship making early editions of his work scarce.
