    Various legal documents concerning English Women between 1777 and 1844, being a draft and copy of a covenant for the production of title deeds, a deed, two last will and testaments, and a Stamp Office Real Estate account. 6 pieces in total being: 1. A Deed of Gift of a Piece of Land .. from James Marten to his sister Ruth Ayles, 1777 July 04; 2. Four pieces pinned as one being two Stamp Office accounts of the Real Estate of Sarah Mowbray on her passing, listing amounts paid to Mrs. Lefevre, Mrs. Shaw Lefevre, Elizabeth Lyons, John Lyons, Anne Lyons, Frances Marten, F. Marten, and Henry Longden, together with two manuscript copies, dated 27 May 1816 and 16 May 1816; 3. Extracted from the Registry of the Prerogative Court on Canterbury: The last Will and Testament of William Castleman of Wimborne, dated 2nd November, 1844; 4. Extracted from the Registry of the Prerogative Court on Canterbury: The last Will and Testament of Hannah Mowbray of Burley, dated 30th September, 1807; 5 & 6. A draft and a copy of the Covenant for the production of Title Deeds for the passing of land from William Castleman of Wimborne dated 7th April, 1840.

    Overall Good to Very Good Condition. Fold lines and some small tears to edges. The 1777 deed has some closed tearing at the folds and the edge at the wax seal has folded over and become stuck to the wax. Good Condition.
