    French fashion designer Madeleine Vionnet (1876-1975), was one of Europe’s greatest couturiers, famous for pioneering many innovations of the ‘bias-cut’ technique. Includes photographs by Irving Penn, Robert Freson, Edward Steichen, Man Ray, Cecil Beaton, Andre Durst, and Horst P. Horst. Text is primarily in Japanese with some English and French translation, including prefaces by Issey Miyake and Jacques Griffe.
