The New York hardcore scene in the 1980s centred around the venue CBGB where Bri Hurley (1964-2018) worked as a bartender. During this time she began photographing gigs, the bands, the scene, and interviewing those involved. Her photos appeared in the Village Voice, Jersey Voice, Teen Punk, and Maximum Rock ‘n’ Roll, and she shot numerous album covers and promotional photographs for the bands.

Minor to moderate foxing to wrappers verso and first and last pages. Very minor shelf and handling wear. Very Good Condition.
