First Edition.

28cm x 21.5cm. [48] pages, illustrations, some colour. Pictorial saddle-stapled self-wrappers.

Nude collection of 1970s gay porn star Gordon Grant, here going by Don Bowman, as captured by English-American photographer, actor, stage designer, director, and writer Roy Dean (1925-2002). Born Leslie Joseph, son of English actress Hermione Gingold, during the early 1970s Dean turned increasingly to photography with a focus on the nude physique of LA’s male bodybuilders. During the 1980s Dean’s work brought the male nude to the eyes of the masses. This earlier work is devoted to a 27 year old Bowman, billed as being born in San Diego, California to Irish and Cherokee parents. He served in the Marine Corp then moved to New York, Puerto Rico, and now Los Angeles, where he works as a truck driver and has been training for three years, standing at 6’1″ and weighing 190 pounds.
