First published as La Nausee in 1938. Translated from the French by Lloyd Alexander and published as The Diary of Antoine Roquentin by John Lehmann in 1949. This being the first edition in English under the original title with the jacket designed by Patricia Davey.

Slightly cocked. Foxing to top edge. Minor soiling to endpapers. Bookseller’s label of Anchor Bookshop, Sydney. Clipped jacket slightly tanned and foxed, and with minor rubbing and chipping to corners. Good Condition.
