True first edition, first printing, of Orwell’s classic dystopian novel in the original unrestored dust jacket (the red variant, generally considered scarcer than the green).

Very Good Condition in Good Jacket. Spine and cloth head and tail edges slightly discoloured, the spine tail tanned more so. The top edge faded and with very minor soiling. Bookseller’s label of J. Harker, Toowomba, over the remnant of another label, rest of interior extremely clean. Clipped jacket with discoloured spine and small chips and tears to edges. Very Good Condition.
