Made During the Voyage of H.M.S. Nassau in the Years 1866, 67, 68, & 69. Narrative of the voyage by the naturalist to the expedition. Includes a journal interspersed with detailed notes on the animal and plant species and accounts of the places visited.

Armorial bookplate and pencil signature of Edmund Giles Loder, extensive pencil marginalia to rear blanks and with some marginalia and annotations to text. Some foxing, more so to some of the plates. The folding map with a couple of marginal repairs and creasing to the gutter edge. Very Good Condition.
