    Memoirs of Queensland settler, carrier, publican, storekeeper, and politician, William Henry Corfield (1843-1927). Corfield migrated to Queensland from England in 1862 at the age of 19 and took up work on his uncle’s property near Maryborough before travelling through North Western Queensland. He established business carrying goods to various Queensland goldfields and later became a member of the Queensland Legislative Assembly.

    Creasing to spine. Minor soiling, minor to moderate insect damage, and a spot of rubbing to wrappers. Minor insect damage and pencil ghost to verso of frontispiece. Previous owner’s signature in pencil to front cover with some marginalia in places. Good Condition.
