Republic and State of the Kingdom of Hungary. An account of the history of the State of Hungary, its origin, kings, and the establishment of the sovereignty of the Crown, followed by a commentary on the political, ecclesiastical, and military institutions. ‘Summa Privilegii’, on the extra final leaf, is dated 15 May 1626. A marvellously preserved copy bound in gorgeous vellum with the title handwritten in ink to the spine.

Minor soiling to edges. 0.5cm hole in page 179/180 with no loss of text (artifact of papermaking?). Very minor insect damage to rear pastedown. Near Fine Condition.
