Bieberman became part of the Harvard Psilocybin Project, led by Timothy Leary and Richard Alpert, in the early 1960s and in the mid 1960s began publishing about psychedelics under the Psychedelic Information Centre imprint. An important and often overlooked female figure in the psychedelic movement.
