“Seventy-nine Australasian and eight extra-Australasian species of Pezizales are enumerated, described and illustrated from specimens preserved in the Herbarium of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (England). They are distributed among thirty-two genera which in turn are arranged in eight families belonging to two suborders, the Sarcoscyphineae and the Pezizineae.
