Irish comic novel first published in 1912, this is the first edition illustrated with twelve colour plates and decorative headings and tailpieces by Thomas MacKenzie. Bound in a signed Bayntun-Riviere full leather binding with a leprechaun and pot of gold in gilt to the upper board, bindery stamp on the verso of the front free endpaper, ‘Bound by Bayntun (Riviere), Bath, England’.
Very minor shelf and handling wear. Very minor foxing to verso of the endpapers. Near Fine Condition.
