Being a discussion of the relation between the Labour Movement and current politics from 1788-1848 presented by the author as an M.A. thesis at the University of Sydney in 1919. The original thesis was missing for many years; this copy reproduced by The Australian Society for the Study of Labor History, Canberra, with the permission of the author, is a replica of a draft copy held in the Archives Section at the Australian National University.
