The Enchanting Spanker or Spanked and Revenged
23cm x 15.5cm. 94 pages, black and white plates. Illustrated wrappers.
One of a number of flagellation tales “Privately printed for the ‘Collector of the Unusual'” dressed up to appear as 1920s French spanking using the imprint of Charles Carrington, Paris, 1925, though likely printed in New York at a later date. Is recorded in Guacamole’s 2021 bibliography of Carrington but notes it is likely not printed by Carrington. Stated as translated from the French of Joaquin Inten, with illustrations by Streichen the Photographer. A curious example of American exotic eroticism, and an hot-handed read with 6 illustrated plates. Unrecorded in OCLC at July, 2021.
Minor wear to wrappers and rubbing to spine. Minor creasing to corners. Hinges starting. Good Condition.
