Edward Stuart Gifford (1907-?) was an ophthalmologist by trade and his enjoyment for the study of the eye extended well beyond his paid work. This copy inscribed by Gifford to a fellow doctor.

Minor general wear to boards. Very minor toning to endpapers. Jacket has some small chips and tears to edges. Very Good Condition.
