    A pamphlet picturing and describing the motifs on the silver Century Vase made by The Gorham Company at the request of Mrs Ulysses S. Grant. It was exhibited at the Centennial International Exhibition of 1876 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, which was held from May 10 to November 10, 1876, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence. The Century Vase weighed more than 2,000 oz. or 57,000 g.

    Tanning. Has previously been adhered to another sheet of paper and a little remains, with no effect to text. Good Condition.
