First published anonymously in 1894, The Green Carnation is a satire aimed at the Aesthetic Movement, principally Oscar Wilde and his circle. This edition has a portrait of Wilde on the jacket.
Good Condition in Fair Jacket. Very minor wear to board corners. Foxing to top edge, a few spots elsewhere. Half of the front free endpaper has clipped. Jacket tanned and rubbed, split along upper joint. Good Condition.
