    First limited edition work on the dominant woman by dominatrix and art historian Anne O. Nomis. Tracing “the history of dominant women through the ages, from the ancient world, to the female flagellants and whip-wielding governesses of the 17th-19th century, to the bizarre ladies of the 20th Ccntury underground.” (publisher’s blurb) Nomis trained as a dominatrix in Melbourne, received a Master of Arts in comparative art and archaeology form University College London, and now lives between Melbourne and London. Numbered edition of 2,000 copies, of which this is number 700. Trove and OCLC indicate no Australian holdings.
