Includes a photograph of the Conductor Henri Verbrugghen and of the Orchestra with a full list of members. Provides notes for their full programme which included Beethoven’s 9th Symphony in D Minor, Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 in C Minor, Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Bizet’s Carmen and Handel’s Messiah. Laid in are advertising flyers for concerts in Adelaide on 12 and 14 May, 1921, a Verbrugghen String Quartet concert on 16 May, 1921, a concert by violinist Jascha Heifetz in June 1921, and an advertisement for sheet music for piano by Alfred Hill.
