Nicolai Michoutouchkine (1929 – 2010) was a French artist, who spent much of his life in the Pacific where he collected native art and craft. He later arranged hundreds of exhibitions of his collection around the world. This copy inscribed by the artist in 1998 to curator Ross Searle. In green pen he has amended the number of the title on the wrappers to 41 years journey by painter Nicolai Michoutouchkine in Oceania.
