Harding, of the Supreme Court of Queensland, this book includes the full text of the Settled Land Act of 1886 and associated Rules, with marginal notes by Harding. An Act for facilitating sales, leases, and other dispositions of settled land, and promoting the execution of improvements thereon. Justice Harding was a successful legal writer who authored seven law books, including this one. A passionate bibliophile, arguable his greatest legacy was the over 10,000 books he collected for the Supreme Court of Queensland whilst he was Chairman of its library committee for six years.
