Aged rebacking. Moderate wear to boards and leather with some aged refurbishment. Endpapers somewhat soiled with staining to the rear. Moderate to heavy tanning and minor foxing. Previous owner’s name of Harold Evan Matthews, dated 1896 and his ex libris catalogue plate to the front free endpaper. Early ink annotations to the recto of the rear free endpaper and page numbers have been annotated to the index. Some ink smudging in places. A few minor chips to the page edges. Good Condition.
