Signed and numbered by the artist, 78/180. Christopher Boock (1974-) is an Australian artist from Ayr, North Queensland. This set of images are highly detailed and intrinsic black and white line drawings. The subjects include fantastical anthropomorphised creatures – erotically charged depictions of lizards and elephants with human features, along with spotted male and female nudes, set in elaborate mystical landscapes; an imaginary garden of Eden, home to snakes and dragons, with Queenslanders and Asian temples featured in the background.
