The Westward Bound Connoisseur Collection
AU$400 Read MoreAdd to cartWestward Bound
London: Westward Bound, 1992.First trade catalogue issued by the British fetishwear company Westward Bound. The business grew out of Der Putsch, the influential London fetish club founded in 1983, and the associated Westward Bound Bed, Breakfast & Dungeon in Cornwall, whose national television exposure helped establish the company’s profile. Issued as the firm expanded into mail-order retail in the early 1990s, the catalogue offers fetishwear in rubber, PVC, leather, footwear, corrective and disciplinary clothing, boned corsetry, jewellery, wigs, and related accessories. Westward Bound went on to become one of Britain’s best-known fetishwear brands and remains in business today. Sinead O’Connor wore a Westward Bound latex dress on the cover of her 2014 album, ‘I’m Not Bossy, I’m the Boss’. Unrecorded in OCLC.
