    Late 19th century leporello album of views of Sydney including views of the Blue Mountains, Macquarie Lighthouse, Bridge Street, Post Office, Messrs. S. Hoffnung & Co.’s Warhouse, The Public Work’s Office, Young Men’s Christian Association, New Masonic Hall, Bank of New Zealand, St. Pauls College, Fort Dennison, Prince Consorts Statue in Hyde Park, The Town Hall, the Exchange, Government House, St. Andrews College and Cathedral, Lady Macquire’s Chair, Parramatta River, Botanical Gardens, the Deaf & Dumb Institute, the Australian Steam Navigation Coy’s Wharf, The School of Arts, the Treasury, Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney University, St. Madeline Convent, Old Exhibition Building, St. Mary’s Cathedral, St. Johns College, Public Library, Farm Cove with ships of war, the New Branch of the Mutual Assurance Society of Melbourne (Sydney Branch), and a large panorama of Sydney encompassing Darling Harbour, the Domain, Botanical Gardens, and Farm Cove. These souvenir albums of Australia, often produced in Germany and with advertisements for a local firm on the boards, this example without an advertising plate. Similar to FERGUSON 5806 giving circa 1888.

    Minor rubbing to and wear to cloth. A few minor splits at folds. A Very Good example of a notoriously fragile 19th century Australian souvenir. Very Good Condition.
